Scope of this Statement

This accessibility statement applies to the website https://elhks.de in both German and English versions, as well as to all redirected domains that point to this website.

The Eva Luise and Horst Köhler Foundation for People with Rare Diseases strives to make its website accessible in accordance with the BITV NRW and the BGG NRW and to fulfill the requirements of WCAG 2.2, Conformance Level AA.

 

Status of Compliance with Accessibility Requirements

The website at https://elhks.de is mostly compliant with WCAG 2.2, Conformance Level AA and is partially compliant with BITV NRW.

The following elements and functions do not comply with the guidelines:

  • Not all recorded videos contain subtitles
  • Some images and graphics without informative function partially include alternative text

We plan to remedy these deficiencies as part of our editorial review of content by December 2025.

This statement was created on 9 September 2025. It is based on a self-assessment conducted from May to August 2025, resulting in steps to improve accessibility, aided by a semi-automated audit by our web agency (last performed on 12 June 2025).

We strive to respond to your inquiries within a reasonable period (usually up to 6 weeks). The Ombuds Office will examine your case and seek to find a solution through an ombuds procedure according to BGG NRW § 10d.
