Dirk Beyer is a man of action, not just words. The amateur golfer, who discovered golf for himself in 2009, has already organized several initiatives and set 2 golf world records. His focus is always on supporting children in need with rare diseases. At his last two world records, Dirk Beyer helped raise four-figure sums that went directly to research and awareness for childhood dementia. On August 17, Dirk Beyer will make his next attempt: at Golfpark Weidenhof, he’ll go for his third golf world record: surpassing the 2002 record of Mr. Ogron (USA), aiming for at least 10,500 shots at a hole 100m away within 24 hours. That’s where the fundraising idea “One Euro – One Shot” comes from.
100% of proceeds will go to research and treatment of rare diseases—so that rare diseases hopefully become curable in the future!
Golf fans can also bid on amazing golf experiences to further support the initiative with auction proceeds.
We’ll be there cheering for Mr. Beyer on August 17! Sincere thanks, Mr. Beyer, for your dedication and commitment, and to all supporters of this fantastic action! Together, we can make a difference.
