The Rare Diseases Run 2026 will take place virtually from February 23 to March 1, 2026.
Whether on your favorite route, on holiday, or right outside your door, everyone decides for themselves where, how, and when to participate.

Every step, every round, and every bit of support counts and truly makes a difference. Various race packages are available. During registration, you can also add an optional donation of up to 100 euros. All entry fees and donations will be distributed among the participating organizations. Together, we make a strong statement for people with rare diseases and show: even if the diseases are rare, we are strong together!
The Rare Diseases Run has now become a powerful movement: last year, almost 4,000 participants from all over Germany took part, collectively covering more than 14,000 kilometers and raising €41,600 in donations, all of which were distributed to 33 associations and self-help groups. Since the event started five years ago, over €130,000 has already been raised to support people with rare diseases.
