CME training courses help to better recognize rare diseases
A quick and correct diagnosis is often the exception with rare diseases; those affected often wait many years until the disease is correctly identified – which means that important time is lost for treatment. It also often takes a very long time for the latest research findings to find their way into GP practices. In order to improve the recognition and diagnosis of rare diseases, doctors can take part in online seminars and acquire the knowledge needed to recognize a rare disease and thus enable earlier treatment.
The Eva Luise and Horst Köhler Foundation is therefore also involved in this area. Below you will find the previous contributions for your perusal.
