Alliance4Rare – Research initiatives for children with rare diseases
Generous donations: enabling us to shape the future together
The Alliance4Rare sees itself as a link between the rapidly developing possibilities of modern precision medicine and the immense need for research into rare diseases. To this end, the civil society alliance combines the expertise of research-oriented university children’s hospitals with the philanthropic commitment of supporting partners. The trusting cooperation between funding and research partners counteracts the acute shortage of young talent in pediatric research and gives seriously ill children hope for a healthier future. As research into rare diseases is often still in its infancy, a single call for proposals can decide whether or not research is carried out into a particular rare disease. You can help change that! The possibilities are as varied as the fields of research. We would be happy to discuss how you can make your philanthropic commitment a topic close to your heart and give hope to people with rare diseases. For example:
- if you would like to support a specific rare disease or group of diseases or
- if you would like to support a specific region, university or clinic or
