With an appeal for donations for a good cause, you can express your solidarity and give people with rare diseases hope for a healthier future. A fundraising campaign like this, as well as a donation in lieu of flowers and gifts, can be a good idea for many occasions – whether in a business or private setting:

• Do you want to surprise someone with a gift donation on the occasion of an anniversary, a day of honor or a birthday?
• Would you prefer to show social responsibility instead of giving Christmas presents to your employees and business contacts?
• Do you want to express your solidarity with those affected by rare diseases by appealing for donations instead of receiving gifts?

In any case, your donation or fundraising campaign is a valuable support for our work. As we keep our administrative costs low, your donations will benefit the foundation’s purpose in full.

What should gift givers bear in mind?

If you would like to make a donation to the Eva Luise and Horst Köhler Foundation instead of a gift, please transfer your donation to our donation account a few days before the festive occasion, if possible. This gives us enough time to record all incoming donations. To ensure we can allocate the donations correctly, it is important that you state the surname and first name of the recipient(s) in the intended purpose.

We can produce a personal thank you card on request. You can decide whether this should be sent directly to the recipient or sent to you. In either case, the card will be sent as soon as we receive your donation and the necessary information.
